Blog Posts and how we make decisions on this wiki

Ok, I'm not one to start forums, but this is bugging me. I have noticed recently quite a few random blog posts have surfaced (not that I have anything wrong with that). I've noticed that other wikis have blog post guidlines. I just wanted to put forward the idea of blog post guidelines. MLP wiki has two that wouldn't be too hard to follow

1. Is it relvant to the Wiki

2. Or is it relevant to the general topic of the Wiki

Also, something else. We seem to decide things by waiting for Flutterbutter to decide. I know that he is the founder, but other wikis don't have to rely on their founder to make decisions. So I'm going to bring forward something that may help in this regard.

-Forums will be discussed for 7 days, and then we see how much support or oppostion their is and that will be the deciding factor.

Thank you for your time, UP, out.

One thing to note: A lot of wikis don't rely their founder for decisions which is true. But that's because they have active admins and beaurecrats. I'll be honest with you here, our wiki has like 8 admins but only 2 of them are active. XD

Well back on topic, the main topic of this wiki is many different things, and arguably most blogs could be considered on topic with the wiki. Obviously you can't argue that a blog that is just spam in general is related, but I think most blogs can. I also think that we shouldn't wait for the founder to make the final decision on things. I think if 1 or 2 admins ok something, we should proceed with it. I agree forums should remain open for 7 days.

So how do we know if a blog is irrelevant?

And what actions should be taken if one such said blogs is found? Should we leave a message for the person who created it and ask him/her to remove? Or admins can delete said blogs if it's found.

That's exactly what I'm saying, a lot of blogs can be irrelevant but can be arguably relevant.

I think if we find an irrelevant blog I should just be deleted and the owner will be warned.

I agree. As I see it the admins should do something like this~

Relevant- Leave as be

Borderline on relevant or irrelivant- Talk to 1-2 other admins about it for a decision

Unsure- Talk to 1-2 other admins about it for a decision

Irrelevant- Warn user and delete
